Motorist transported to hospital after vehicle vs. fire truck crash
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A motorist was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries early Tuesday morning, May 28th following a vehicle vs. fire truck crash near 60th and Silver Spring.
According to police, Engine 9 was traveling with four fire officials on southbound 60th Street on a emergency call with lights and sirens on when a civilian traveling westbound on Silver Spring at 60th T-bonded the fire truck.
The four fire officials traveling in Engine 9 immediately rendered aid to the civilian.
The motorist was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The four fire officials were also transported as a precaution.
At this time, it is unconfirmed if alcohol was involved, and legal blood draw will be taken at the hospital.
