Plane from Air Refueling Wing forced to land at Mitchell

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A Mitchell International Airport spokesperson confirmed to FOX6 News that a disabled plane landed at the airport Tuesday evening, May 28th.

The airport spokesman said a KC-135 from the 128th Air Refueling Wing landed at the airport just before 7:30 p.m.

The plane was forced to land due to a mechanical issue with one of its engines.

No injuries were reported, and the plane was able to taxi back to the hangar under its own power.
