Larry Drew named new head coach of Milwaukee Bucks



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Bucks introduced Larry Drew as the new head coach of the team on Monday morning, June 3rd.

Drew is the 13th head coach in the franchise's history. He served as head coach of the Atlanta Hawks the past three seasons, where he guided the team to three consecutive post-season appearances. Prior to becoming head coach in Atlanta, Drew was the lead assistant coach for six seasons.

Drew was also an assistant with several other NBA teams, and played in the league for 11 years after being selected as a first-round draft pick in 1980.
