Two women accused of stealing from New Berlin Soccer Club

NEW BERLIN (WITI) — New Berlin Police are referring two theft cases to the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office against two women who are accused of stealing over $80,000 from the New Berlin Soccer Club over different time periods while acting as officers for the club.

On May 5th, 2013, a 42-year-old New Berlin woman was arrested for stealing over $70,000 from the club for personal use between August, 2009 and April 2013.  She was the club’s president and treasurer.

On May 19th, 2013, a 42-year-old Burlington woman (formerly lived in New Berlin) was arrested for stealing over $12,000 from the same club while acting as the club’s treasurer.  These thefts occurred between February, 2008 and January 2010.  The report number for this case is 2013-1054.
