Woman struck by vehicle on I-94 in Kenosha Co. dies

KENOSHA (WITI) -- 24-year-old Loretta Pollock of Milwaukee has died after being hit by a vehicle while she was walking on I-94 in Kenosha early Friday, June 7th. Pollack died shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Sunday at Froedtert Hospital.

Wisconsin State Patrol Troopers and Kenosha County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene at around 3:05 a.m. on Friday and performed CPR until Paris Fire and Rescue arrived and took over. Pollock's car was located several hours later in the pond outside Mars Cheese Castle.

State Patrol is still investigating the cause of the accident. Surveillance videos are being requested from various businesses as well as the Statewide Traffic Operations Center that may serve as evidence of the events leading up to the incident.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is awaiting toxicology reports from Pollock.
