Watertown police respond to fight between family members

WATERTOWN (WITI) — Watertown police say a fight between family members turned violent.

Police say a 24-year-old man was beaten up and bitten in the leg by his 45-year-old uncle.

The 24-year-old man says as he ran from the house, he was stabbed.

When police arrived, they say the uncle refused to come out of the home — prompting a tactical situation.

He was taken into custody without incident.

Police say charges are pending.
