Police seeking suspect in Family Dollar store armed robbery



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are seeking information on the identity of the suspect responsible for the July 8th armed robbery of the Family Dollar store on N. 76th Street.

Police say the suspect entered the store shortly after 9:00 a.m. and attempted to purchase items, but claimed that he did not have enough money. He then produced a knife and told the cashier to open the register.

The suspect was able to obtain money, and fled the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6'0" to 6'2" tall, weighing 150-170 pounds, wearing a red, white and blue hooded sweatshirt with the letters DGK in red over white background, blue jeans and white or light tennis shoes.
