Dull roar of Japanese beetles, protect garden from late blight disease

Sharon Morrisey talks Japanese beetles, late blight disease and this year's strawberry harvest. Japanese beetles are back -- and they're probably feeding on what seems like everything in your yard! While you can’t get rid of them, there are a couple things you can do to keep them down to a dull roar.

Also, late blight disease which caused the Irish Potato Famine is in Wisconsin again this year infecting potatoes and tomatoes. Home gardeners who want to protect their tomatoes from this deadly disease need to start a summer-long spray program. And Sharon will give tips on how to so.

This year’s strawberry harvest was 13 pounds from our little garden! Now it’s time to prepare the June-bearing strawberries for production of next year’s crop.
