Richard Lisko to spend six years in prison in torture case

FOND DU LAC (WITI) -- Richard Lisko -- one of two men found guilty in a Fond du Lac County torture case will spend the next six years behind bars.

Prosecutors say Lisko used his dog to attack a teenager after he believed the boy had stolen from him.

Lisko was found guilty by a jury in May of two felony charges. They include false imprisonment and first-degree reckless injury.

The teen’s father also helped out in the more than hour-long attack.

During Lisko's trial, the court heard testimony from a sheriff’s deputy who responded to Lisko’s house in Osceola on August 31st. He noticed the victim was injured, and talked to him away from the two men on trial to find out how he was injured. He said the teen "advised me that he was in the house face to face with Mr. Lisko and was attacked by Lisko’s dog after he received a command from Mr. Lisko.”

The deputy testified the teen was bound at his ankles by Lisko, then he and the boy's father tied him to a beam on the front porch and had the dog attack him numerous times.

The boy's father was sentenced to one year in jail and three years probation for his role in the attack.
