36th and Capitol crash

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police say a 32-year-old man was killed in a single car crash that occurred late Saturday night near 36th and Capitol.

Police say the 32-year-old man, identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office as Errik Martinez, was driving the vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on Capitol Drive — when the vehicle lost control.

An 18-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. They were taken to the hospital, and are in critical condition.

Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene.
