Ryan Braun to admit to performance enhancing drug use

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Sources close to Ryan Braun say the Milwaukee Brewers left fielder is planning to admit to using performance enhancing drugs during parts of the 2011 season.

According to the sources, Braun will also publicly apologize for the lies and deception surrounding the recent scandal, as well as address the reasons why he did what he did.

Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig announced on July 22nd that Braun would be suspended without pay for the remainder of the 2013 season for violating the league’s drug policy.
