Bike shop in Lake Geneva helping Harley riders customize bikes

LAKE GENEVA (WITI) -- With so many bikers in Milwaukee and Wisconsin from all over the world for Harley-Davidson's big 110th anniversary celebration, Harley isn't the only one making money! Some are coming to this state looking to customize their bikes, and there's a shop in Lake Geneva making it happen.

"Other customers when they first walk in, other times you first don't know what they're about. Not talking about what they want. Just taking to them, see what they're all about," Jim Jones said.

Jones, with Custom Services Motorcycles, loves to play with bike parts.

"Front fender is off a Honda Goldwing from the 70s, and we split it down the middle, narrowed it. I took a '99 Road King front fender, turned it around backwards, had the challenge of me turning it around to match the front," Jones said.

The owner of the bike is from Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. Like a lot of customers, there were some must-haves!

"He wanted orange red, candy pinstripe. The green was my idea -- and the ignition switchbox, he said that had to be a must-have on the bike. It was a part of his dad's and he just wanted to make sure it was there," Jones said.

As for the prices...

"It was something of this nature where it's more like priceless to him. There's no, you can't put a price on this motorcycle," Jones said.
