Grabbing the handlebars of a Harley for the first time during the 110th

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Though the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration features veteran Harley riders from around the world -- it also features some who have never experienced taking the handlebars of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and they're getting the chance this Labor Day weekend!

Jessica Hite has ridden on the back of a bike, but has never ridden one alone.

On Saturday, August 30th, Hite took hold of the handlebars, and her friend Dawn got it all on camera.

"Riding your own bike is the best experience," Dawn Thomas told FOX6 News.

Greta Bartholomew of West Allis was another rookie Harley driver going for a ride on Saturday.
