Officials seeking suspect in attempted strong armed robbery

WATERFORD (WITI) — Racine County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a white female in connection with an attempted strong armed robbery at the Village of Waterford Food Mart.

According to officials, Racine County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Village of Waterford Food Mart for a report of an attempted robbery around 11:18 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Police say an unidentified white female entered the store, waited for another patron to exit, and then approached the store clerk and demanded cash from the register. During to attempted robbery, the suspect displayed a knife under the sleeve of her sweatshirt.

Officials say the store clerk refused to give the suspect money, and the suspect left the store.

The suspect is described as a white female, 5’6″ tall and 200 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark Harley-Davidson sweatshirt, blue jeans and a red bandanna covering the lower portion of her face.
