Gunderson and her mother watched the game together at Champps Americana in Brookfield. In fact, the entire family was on hand, as they celebrated Gunderson's mother's birthday.

"I'm lucky! It fell right on the day (of the game," Barbara Verhalen said.

It was the Green Bay Packers that completed the celebration for Verhalen Sunday.

"Packers game, food,d rink -- it's wonderful," Verhalen said.

Despite the outcome of the game on Sunday, for Verhalen, it was more about seeing the team play in a game that matters for the first time this season, and being with her family.

"That's why we're all here," Gunderson said.
