MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police were conducting a shooting investigation near 20th and Mitchell Sunday night, September 8th.

Police haven't yet confirmed any details on this incident, but a FOX6 News crew at the scene was hearing a consistent story from neighbors there.

Neighbors told FOX6 News a young man was driving when he was shot. He then lost control of his vehicle and struck another vehicle, before coming to rest.

The front seat of that vehicle was covered at the scene Sunday night.

Neighbors say this is a homicide investigation.

FOX6 News is still awaiting official details from police.

Police were also investigating a shooting in the 1600 block of Union Street. The victim in that shooting was taken to Froedtert Hospital.

Neighbors tell FOX6 News the shootings were related, but police have not confirmed that information.
