One dead, four injured following three separate shooting incidents

MILWAUKEE (WITI) --  Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shooting incidents that occurred Sunday, September 22nd. Police say one person is dead and four others were injured as a result of the shootings.

The first shooting incident occurred in the 2200 block of W. Auer Street around 4 p.m. The victim, a 21-year-old Milwaukee man, sustained a non-life threatening injury and is being treated at a local hospital.

Police say the shooting stemmed from a fight at a basketball court.

There are no suspects in custody as this time.

Milwaukee police are also investigating a shooting/homicide that occurred in the 4700 block of N. Hopkins Avenue around 10:15 p.m. Police say the homicide victim is a 24-year-old Milwaukee man.

Officials say the shooting victim is a 23-year-old Milwaukee man. He is being treated at an area hospital and is in stable condition.

The motive for the shooting is unknown and there are no suspects in custody.

Milwaukee police are also investigating a double shooting that occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of N. 29th Street.

The victims, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man and 24-year-old Milwaukee man, sustained non-life threatening injuries and are being treated at area hospitals.

Police say the motive is unknown and there are no suspects in custody.
