One dead, one injured following crash in New Berlin

NEW BERLIN (WITI) — A 47-year-old man is dead and a 26-year-old man is injured following a single-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday night, September 25th in New Berlin.

According to authorities, police were called to a single-vehicle crash on Lincoln Avenue near Johnson Road in New Berlin around 10:51 p.m.

Police say the driver, a 47-year-old man from Pewaukee, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, a 26-year-old man from Waukesha, was transported to an area hospital for injuries.

Officials say the cause of the accident remains under investigation — although alcohol and speed may have been factors.
