Three people wounded in separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Three people were shot and wounded in separate incident in Milwaukee on Saturday, September 28th.

The first incident happened shortly after noon near 25th and Keefe. The victim is a 25-taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The victim told police he only heard shots and was struck by the gun fire. There are no suspects in custody.

Another shooting happened near Sherman and Lisbon around 9 p.m. Saturday. The victim in this incident is a 37-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound to an arm. Police say the suspect was arguing with the victim's girlfriend, when the victim confronted the suspect. The suspect retrieved a handgun and fired two shots striking the victim once.  The suspect was taken into custody at the scene and the firearm was recovered.

Around 9:15 p.m., police responded to a shooting incident near 15th and Ring. A 56-year-old man was shot and wounded in the leg. Police say the victim in this offense was extremely uncooperative and there is no information on any suspect at this time. There are also no witnesses to this shooting at this time.
