Teens charged with filming sexual assault of 16-year-old girl

RACINE (WITI) -- Two 16-year-old boys will be charged as adults after being accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl who was passed out -- and making a video of the attack.

The incident took place on September 6th in a duplex near the corner of Deane and Wright in Racine. Authorities say Alejandro Sanchez-Morales and Robert Torres were drinking with the alleged victim.

A criminal complaint says the girl became intoxicated and passed out. Sanchez-Morales then took out his cell phone and began recording.

Police combed through the teenager's phone and found enough evidence to charge Sanchez-Morales and Torres with five counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of second-degree sexual assault.

"It kind of shocked me. It still do to this day, right now, it kind of do because we were cool. I never expected him to do anything like that. He never looked like that character to me," said neighbor Danard Lockridge, who has known Sanchez-Morales for four years.

On the cell phone, police found several incriminating videos including one where Torres sexually assaults the girl with a loaded handgun while saying "bang, bang, bang." In another, Torres is holding the gun while Sanchez-Morales tell him to "just rape the (expletive)."

The Racine County District Attorney says he is charging the two teens as adults because of the horrific facts surrounding the case. If convicted on all charges, both suspects could be sentenced to more than 140 years in prison.
