Police seek suspect in armed robbery of Romie's Service

WASHINGTON CO. (WITI) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Romie's Service in Allenton on Sunday, October 20th.

According to police, an employee of Romie's Service told police that a masked subject with a gun demanded cash from the register. According to the employee, the suspect pulled a black pistol on the worker when they refused. The employee gave the suspect the cash drawer.

The suspect removed most of the cash and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect was described as a wearing all black clothing which included shoes, pants, a hoodie or jacket with the hood up, gloves, and a mask covering his/her face.
