MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The Milwaukee Brewers have announced eight All-Fan Bobblehead Dates on the promotional schedule during the 2014 season. All bobblehead dates are scheduled on Sundays and the collectibles will include current and former players. In addition, the team will debut a new series of all-fan giveaways for 2014, “T-Shirt Fridays.” At every Friday home game at Miller Park during the months of June, July and August, all fans will receive a different Brewers t-shirt.
Brewers Gold Glove-winning outfielder Carlos Gomez will be the first featured bobblehead for 2014, as his likeness will be featured when the Brewers play the Chicago Cubs on April 27 at Miller Park. The bobblehead will commemorate his 2013 Gold Glove Award.
The second Brewers bobblehead will be given to all-fans on May 11—Mother’s Day—when the Brewers face the New York Yankees and will feature pitcher Kyle Lohse. This is the first time Lohse has been featured on a bobblehead while a member of the Brewers.
On Father’s Day at Miller Park, June 15 as the Brewers take on the Cincinnati Reds, all-fans will receive a unique bobblehead to add to their collection. The “Vintage Brewers Bobblehead” will be a “nod” to the past as it will be a replica of the first bobbleheads ever created nearly 50 years ago.
Brewers rightfielder Norichika Aoki will be wearing a unique Brewers uniform on his bobblehead that all-fans will receive on June 29 when the Brewers take on the Colorado Rockies. Aoki’s uniform will feature the script “Brewers” in Japanese.
The next bobblehead date will be July 27 as the Brewers take on the New York Mets. The decision of which player will be featured on that bobblehead will be left up to the fans. Through a vote at Brewers.com, fans will be able to choose the player they want to see featured. Nominees and information on voting will be announced at a later date.
The Klement’s Famous Racing Sausage Chorizo bobblehead will be featured on August 10 when the Brewers take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Chorizo will be wearing a “Cerveceros” uniform.
Brewers shortstop Jean Segura will make his Brewers bobblehead debut on August 24 when the Brewers play the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The final bobblehead in the 2014 collection will be given to all-fans on September 14 and will feature Hall of Famer Robin Yount wearing a 1974 Brewers uniform—commemorating the 40th Anniversary of his rookie season.
On Friday home games during the months of June, July and August (June 13, June 27, July 11, July 25, August 8 and August 22), all-fans will receive a Brewers t-shirt that will be unique to that game. More details on the promotion will be announced at a later date and images of the t-shirt designs are attached.
