Armed suspects rob Topper's Pizza in West Milwaukee

WEST MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- West Milwaukee police are searching for a couple of armed suspects who robbed the Topper's Pizza on Miller Park Way on Friday, November 8th.

Investigators say the two suspects walked into the restaurant just after midnight, displayed a handgun and took control of the three employees working there.

The suspects demanded employees open the safe. Before leaving the business, the suspects fired three rounds at the safe from a silver semi-automatic handgun, trying to break it. The suspects were unsuccessful and then fled the store.

One of the suspects is described as a male, Hispanic, in his late teens, 5'1" to 5'2", weighing 120 to 140 pounds. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and black jeans. He was the one with the handgun.

The second suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, 5'7" to 5'8", about 200 pounds, in his late teens. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Surveillance video shows no weapon on this suspect. However, officials say his right hand was pulled back inside his sweatshirt sleeve. This suspect grabbed the handgun and fired the shots into the safe.

If you recognize either of these suspects, you're urged to call the West Milwaukee Police Department at 414-645-2151.
