Kenosha woman dead following accident with dump truck

KENOSHA (WITI) — A Kenosha woman is dead following a crash near 23rd and 39th in Kenosha on Friday, November 15th. The accident happened around 10:30 a.m.

The incident involved a passenger vehicle and dump truck. The passenger vehicle was being operated by a woman with a 14-year-old male passenger. The dump truck was being operated by an adult male.

According to officials, the woman and the 14-year-old boy had been pulled from the vehicle by nearby residents after the vehicle caught on fire.

When officials arrived on the scene, they began to perform CPR on the woman — the operator of the passenger vehicle. Flight for Life was also called to the scene, and transported the 14-year-old boy to the hospital.

The female operator of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the dump truck suffered minor injuries.

The names of the individuals involved are not being released at this time pending notification of the family.
