Milw. company cashing in on Packers' "quarterback conundrum"

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Green Bay Packers took on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon, November 17th with a new starting quarterback. Former Badgers QB Scott Tolzien led the Pack on Sunday. This, after Rodgers backup QB Seneca Wallace was injured during last Sunday's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Rodgers was injured as the Pack took on the Bears -- suffering a fractured collarbone. A Milwaukee company is cashing in on the Pack's backup QB conundrum.

"We're getting ready in case we get called up to Lambeau to quarterback," Brew City Apparel co-owner George Keppler said.

George Keppler and his crew decided to poke fun at the revolving lead position -- making Packers "backup quarterback" T-shirts.

"It's been super. It's been great. People are having lots of fun with it and we sent one up to Brett Farve but I don`t think he is going to wear it," George Keppler said.

The shirts are a big hit for folks gearing up for game day. Hundreds have already been sold.

"I love them. It's making light of a bad situation,"

"It`s funny, but you have to cheer for the Packers through and through, so whoever they are going to put out there, we got to cheer for. They are going to be our leader at the end of the day so Tolzien it is,"

If Tolzien were to go down, recently signed backup QB Matt Flynn is at the ready.

"I always liked him a lot and glad to see him back so that could work as well,"

Meanwhile, some fans say they're just hoping the backup QB situation is temporary.

"Just waiting for Aaron to come back next week so we re hoping for that,"

Brew City Apparel has been shipping the shirts to Green Bay and all over Wisconsin. They are available at the store and online.
