Marquette advances to championship game of Wooden Legacy

FULLERTON, Calif. (WITI)– The Marquette Golden Eagles rolled past George Washington 76-60 on Friday afternoon, moving onto the Championship game of the Wooden Legacy.

Marquette went on a 9-0 run in the 1st half and lead 46-25 into half time.  MU’s Davante Gardner lead both teams in scoring with 20 points off the bench.

Kethan Savage lead George Washington with 16 points.

Marquette will take on the winner of Creighton versus San Diego State in the Championship Game on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. CT.
