Aaron Rodgers out for game against the Atlanta Falcons

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said quarterback Aaron Rodgers is out for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons at Lambeau Field. That announcement came Friday afternoon, December 6th during a coach's news conference.

When asked how Rodgers is handling his situation, Coach McCarthy says Rodgers is frustrated. But the coach said Rodgers has a rehab plan -- and he's fighting to get back on the field.

This marks the sixth consecutive game Rodgers will have missed since sustaining a broken collarbone on Nov. 4.

As for quarterback Matt Flynn, McCarthy said he was sharp in practice on Friday. The team practiced outside for team periods.
