Two suspects sought in armed robbery on Marquette campus

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Marquette Department of Public Safety officials and Milwaukee police are seeking the individuals responsible for an armed robbery that took place on Monday night, January 27th.

It happened just after 8:00 p.m. in the 1800 block of Wisconsin Avenue.

The victim, a Marquette student, was approached by a male suspect who showed a weapon, demanded property and then demanded the student's vehicle.

The suspect fled in the student's black Lexus (Florida plates F06-5JG) -- along with a second suspect.

The Marquette student was not injured and did not seek medical treatment.

One suspect is described as a black man, 20-30 years old, 6'1" tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds with a dark-colored bandanna covering his face.

The second suspect's description is unknown.
