Kohl's returns land once intended for HQ back to Men. Falls

MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Business Journal is reporting Kohl's is returning land to Menomonee Falls.

Menomonee Falls took 103 acres in the Woodland Prime Business Park back from Kohl's Corporate -- and is laying out plans to sell the land to developers for future office projects.

The land was originally intended to become Kohl's new corporate campus, but the retailer canceled the development.

According to state records, Kohl's gave the land, valued at almost $10 million back to the village last week.

It is north of Good Hope Road near Highway 45.
