Winter Weather ADVISORY for SE Wisconsin from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday

snowfall forecast

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather ADVISORY for all of southeast Wisconsin to be in effect from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday, February 17th.

The advisory means visibilities will be limited to due strong winds and blowing snow — especially in open areas.

FOX6 Chief Meteorologist Vince Condella says 3″ to 5″ of snow is expected, mainly accumulating between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Flurries will start to fly before 9:00 a.m. — and then the accumulating snow moves in.

The flurries and light snow should move out by 7:00 p.m.

After Monday’s snow, we see a bit of a warm up, with temperatures near 40 degrees expected for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
