Traffic flowing again after car fire on high-rise bridge

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Traffic is flowing freely again after a car fire happened during the evening rush in the southbound lanes of I-43 on Milwaukee’s high-rise bridge on Tuesday, April 1st.

Because of the fire, the ramp from eastbound I-94 to southbound I-43 was temporarily closed.

The car fire reportedly occurred just after 4:30 p.m. — according to the Wisconsin DOT.
