Officials respond to apartment fire near 34th & Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Crews responded to the scene of an apartment fire near 34th and Wisconsin Sunday night, April 6th.

According to the officials, the fire broke out around 11:45 p.m. and damaged one unit in an 18 unit building.

One person sustained an injury to an ankle and one firefighter sustained a cut to the hand.

The cause of the fire is unknown — however officials say it appears suspicious in nature.

No additional details have been released at this time.
