MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The Milwaukee Admirals look to clinch their 12th consecutive playoff berth when they travel to the play the Rockford IceHogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night, April 11th.
The Admirals are currently in the sixth spot in the Western Conference (the top eight qualify) with 83 points, eight points up on ninth place Rockford.
A Milwaukee win Friday night would give them 85 points which would be more than the IceHogs could secure the rest of the season.
If the Ads do qualify tomorrow night the opponent and game dates/times will be announced at a future date. Milwaukee has qualified for the post-season each of the past 11 years and won their only Calder Cup title in 2004.
If the Admirals fail to clinch on Friday night they will be back at it on Saturday when they play host to the Chicago Wolves in Amtrak Rivalry action at 7:00 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
