Armed suspect grabbed more than soda at gas station



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are asking the public to help identify an armed robbery suspect who is accused of robbing the Cleveland Avenue Citgo at 60th and Cleveland on April 7th just after 10 a.m.

According to police, the suspect purchased and paid for a soda at the counter, but when the register drawer was open, the suspect pointed a gun at the employee.

The suspect then leaned over the counter and grabbed money from the drawer and fled from the scene.

He was last seen walking westbound on Cleveland Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his early 30's, 5'3" tall, 130-140 pounds, and with thin sideburns. He was wearing a black knit hat, a navy blue hooded sweatshirt with pockets, dark denim pants, and dark athletic shoes.
