Wife of man attacked by swan files lawsuit

DES PLAINES, Ill. (CNN) -- A wrongful death lawsuit was filed on behalf of a man who was attacked by a swan.

Anthony Hensley was responsible for two swans at the Bay Colony Drive condo complex near Des Plaines. They were used to keep geese away.

Hensley drowned two years ago when one of the swans knocked him out of his kayak, and attacked him as he tried to swim to shore.

Hensley's wife is suing his employer and the condo complex, saying they should have known the swans are territorial with a propensity to attack.
