Police officer injured after hitting gigantic sinkhole

KENOSHA (WITI) -- A police officer was responding to a call on Saturday evening, April 19th when her squad car hit a 7-foot-wide, 18-inch-deep sinkhole.

Kenosha Police told FOX6 News the officer encountered the sinkhole near 23rd Ave. and 56th St.

According to police, the officer suffered a slight abrasion to her head, but was treated and released from a local hospital.

Police say the car wasn't heavily damaged.
