Who would steal from a baby's grave plot? Woman admits to crime

MANSFIELD, OHIO (WITI) -- An update to a story out of Ohio FOX6 News told you about on Wednesday, April 23rd: A woman seen in surveillance video stealing from a 14-month-old child's grave has now admitted to the crime.

FOX6's sister station, FOX8 in Cleveland says Frieda Kay Shade of Mansfield, Ohio turned herself in to police after surveillance video was shared heavily on social media on Wednesday.

This isn't the first time someone has stolen items from Hayden "Tank" Cole Sheridan's grave plot since his death in 2007.

In fact, as FOX6 News told you Wednesday, Sheridan's family had surveillance cameras set up near his grave plot in the hopes of catching the person(s) responsible for stealing things like toys and solar night lights from the baby boy's grave.

A clear picture of a suspect was never caught on camera -- until April 19th, 2014.

Sheridan's family says they placed a yellow stuffed duck at his gravesite on April 19th -- and shortly thereafter, Shade was caught on camera.

So what's she telling police regarding why she would do something like this?
