"Yabba Dabba don't steal!" Teens who stole "Flintmobile" punished, but did it fit the crime?

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (WITI) -- A unique punishment was handed down to three teenagers accused of stealing a "Flintmobile" replica from a California comics store.

The teenagers are accused of stealing the store's trademark "Flintmobile" back in December.

FOX6's sister station, FOX40 in Sacramento says authorities later found video footage of the three carrying the car into the bed of a truck and driving away.

FOX40 reports the owner of the World's Best Comics and Toys store offered a unique reward for information in this case: a six-pack of "Cactus Cooler" -- a hard-to-find soft drink the Flintstones drank regularly.

The Flintmobile was recovered in January -- and the stores's owner, Dave Downey declined to press charges.

Instead, he ordered the teens work for him on the busiest day of the year -- Free Comic Book Day, celebrated on the first Saturday of May every year.

What were the teens tasked with this weekend?
