The right call? Mom posts video of crying daughter who had been bullied

FOSSTON, Minn (CNN) -- A Minnesota mom is hoping a video she posted online will help stop the bullying of her daughter on the school bus.

The video, seen above, has already been shared on Facebook thousands of times in just hours.

The third grade girl in the video has apparently been suffering from repeated bullying on the school bus. The girl cries her eyes out as her mom records the entire exchange.

The parents of the girl claim they've been trying to get something done about this situation since December.

But the Fosston superintendent says this just landed on his radar. Now he and other school officials admit, they dropped the ball.

"Obviously somewhere along the line it feel through the cracks. So we need to review our procedures and policies and maybe do a better job articulating to the parents what we're doing, even though we can't be specific we need to do a better job of getting that communication out there," Mark Nohner, Fosston Public Schools Superintendent.

School officials say they're investigating, but cannot elaborate on any disciplinary action because of confidentiality laws.
