ESPN: Sale of Milwaukee Bucks could be a done deal come Thursday

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The sale of the Milwaukee Bucks could be a done deal as early as Thursday, May 15th.

ESPN.com is reporting the NBA will sign off on the $550 million sale on Thursday.

Herb Kohl is selling the team to hedge fund billionaires Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry.

The new owners say they will spend at least $100 million to build a new arena. Herb Kohl is pledging another $100 million.

The timing of the sale will allow Edens and Lasry to take control of the team before Tuesday's draft lottery in New York.
