Admirals sign Mike Liambas to one-year deal

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that they have signed forward Mike Liambas to a one-year AHL contract for the 2014-15 season.

Playing in his first full season with Milwaukee in 2013-14, Liambas was second in the American Hockey League and set an new Admirals AHL record with 267 penalty minutes, including 27 major penalties. He also chipped in three goals and five assists for eight points while skating in 60 games for the Ads.

The Woodbridge, ON native has totaled nine points (4g-5a) and 341 penalty minutes in 87 games over parts of two seasons with the Admirals. He has also posted 21 points (3g-18a) in 87 ECHL games with the Cincinnati Cyclones and Orlando Solar Bears.
