SUV slams into tree killing woman, injuring two men

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that happened near Green Bay and Glendale on Thursday, May 15th.

According to officials, a 52-year-old Milwaukee woman was killed when the vehicle she was riding in struck a tree.

Police say the vehicle was eastbound on Glendale Avenue when the driver, a 73-year-old Milwaukee man, lost control of the SUV, left the roadway, and struck a tree.

The driver, along with the front seat passenger, a 75-year-old Milwaukee man, were conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
