WOW!!! Dad catches his son's first home run of the season!

DAVENPORT, IOWA (WITI) -- 22-year-old Houston Astros prospect Conrad Gregor's first home run of the season was caught on the fly on Saturday night, May 24th by the happiest fan at Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport, Iowa.

The home run was Gregor's way of sending a special thank you to his parents -- for making the five-hour drive to see him play baseball.

Gregor's home run led his team to a comeback win -- but that wasn't the most impressive thing that happened.

According to the Quad-City Times, as Gregor rounded the bases following his three-run blast that put his team ahead to stay -- he noticed a fan standing behind the wall near right center field -- pumping his arms in the air -- waving the ball for the crowd of over 5,000.

As it turned out, Gregor's father caught his home run ball!
