Search for suspects: One dead, one injured in two separate shooting incidents

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred late Wednesday night, May 28th and early Thursday morning, May 29th. One of the shootings was fatal.

At this time, Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 2000 block of W. Wright Street around 10:30 p.m. on May 28th.

According to police, a 27-year-old man from Milwaukee was found shot in a vehicle at that location. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and there are no suspects in custody.

Police are also investigating a shooting that occurred near 23rd and Lancaster just after midnight.

According to officials, a man sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.

No arrests have been made.
