MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries on Saturday evening, May 31st on Milwaukee's north side.
It happened just after 9:00 p.m.
Police say a 22-year-old motorcyclist was traveling southbound on N. 76th St. when he was struck by a vehicle making a left turn onto W. Winfield. The striking vehicle fled the scene but was located a short time later by police.
The driver of the striking auto, a 20-year-old man, was taken into custody under suspicion of operating while intoxicated.
The victim was taken to a hospital for his serious injuries.
