Once a speakeasy?! Intrigue over "mystery room" uncovered by demolition crew

MIDDLETOWN, PA (WITI) -- A demolition crew uncovered a secret underground room after tearing down a building in Middletown, Pennsylvania -- halting construction.

Since the "mystery room" was discovered -- the entire town has been abuzz -- many theorizing as to what it's purpose may have been.

Theories abound over whether the room was used in the Underground Railroad -- or during prohibition.

According to FOX43.com in York, PA, historians so far say evidence points to the latter.
