LAS VEGAS, Nev. (WITI) — What do you do when you’re stuck at the airport overnight all by yourself? One man decided to make a music video.

Richard Dunn, a lighting designer for corporate entertainment, decided to make a video of him lip-syncing to Celine Dion’s “All By Myself” while he was stuck at McCarran International Airport, according to CBC News.

According to CBC News, Dunn was offered vouchers to be bumped off two consecutive Delta Air Lines flights leaving him “all by himself”until 6 a.m. the next day.

“I thought, well I don’t have enough time to go to a hotel so what do I do? I’ve got my phone and an empty movie set, let’s see what trouble I can get into,” Dunn said.

My thoughts exactly. It’s way too polished to be impromptu. If he was alone, how did the camera zoom and pan?

Simple video editing software can zoom and pan just fine. Videos like this are not that hard to make…

This wouldn’t be that hard to do….especially if you have made a video before. Take it home when done….some simple editing….sometimes things that are done spur of the moment are the best….no time to over think things. I say his was brilliant…….Nice Job!

He was using the conveyor belts to move the phone. The line of chairs he was sitting in was right behind them.

I thought Vegas was the city that never sleeps… If this is truly impromptu, how in the hell did an ENTIRE – INTERNATIONAL Airport get COMPLETELY vacated? – Even the shops were closed!

I don’t know if was professionally done or spur of the moment, who cares– it was very intertaining !!

Back in 2004 my husband and I missed our flight out of Vegas. It was the last flight out. We were told to wait until ticketing re opens at 5am. And yes, everything shut down
from 1am-5am. Now it wasn’t completely deserted. There were still a couple of cleaning crew/maintenance workers around.
So we slept uncomfortably on the floor for a short period. I ventured over to the video poker machines. $40 into playing and BOOM! I get a Royal Flush! I did have to wait an hour for a slot attendant to get on duty and hand pay me. But the wait was worth taking $1000 home! And the great memories of spending the night at McCarren.
