Faulty forks? Trek Bicycle recalls 120,000 bicycles

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Trek Bicycle which is based in Waterloo, WI is recalling 120,000 bicycles. The forks on the bikes can break -- and cause injury.

Trek officials say they have received 28 reports of broken forks -- five people have been hurt.

11 models from 2011 to 2013 are a part of the recall. Customers can return the bikes to an authorized Trek dealer for a free repair.
