Netflix purges 79 films from online library on July 1; adding 45 more

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Dozens of new movies and shows will be available to Netflix users in July.   Beginning July 1st, Netflix is adding 45 new movies to its catalog. However,  a total of 79 titles will be removed.

CNET.com reported that classics like “Taxi Driver,” “Spaceballs,” and “Chinatown” are getting nixed. Additionally, more modern movies like “Hotel Rwanda,” “Lars and the Real Girl,” and “Resident Evil” are also being removed.
