Can YOU help police? MPD looking for suspect who spit on bus driver, displayed gun

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is seeking a suspect who spit on a Milwaukee County Transit System bus driver -- and displayed a gun.

Police say it happened around 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2nd near the intersection of N. 91st Street and W. Mill Road.

Police say the suspect entered the bus and a dispute ensued between him and the bus driver over the fare.

The suspect then spit on the driver and lifted his shirt -- displaying a handgun -- before exiting the bus.

Police say the suspect then proceeded to stand in front of the bus -- showing the handgun again, before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 17 and 18. He is 5'8" to 6' tall with a light complexion.

Police say he was last seen wearing a white or red baseball hat and a red hooded sweatshirt.
